[edit] Core Resources

  • WebEx is used by the OpenTravel for its virtual meetings.
  • The OpenTravel Specification is the core product of OpenTravel and consists of a large library of XML Schema files. A table of all the OpenTravel Specification versions is also maintained on the wiki.
  • The OpenTravel Code Table is a spreadsheet that is maintained consistently and contains a comprehensive list of all codes referenced within the XML Schema files. Requests for new OpenTravel codes need to follow the procedures for requesting new Opentravel codes.
  • The OpenTravel Forum website is free for anyone to participate in. You can ask questions or discuss issues related to the OpenTravel Specification and how to implement systems using it. OpenTravel Members get expert moderator support in the Architecture, Hospitality, Transport, Travel Services and Tours & Activities sections of the forum.
  • The OpenTravel Model Viewer provides OpenTravel schema documentation in the form of cross-referenced, hyperlinked HTML pages along with a detailed functional report for each schema component.

[edit] Member's Only Resources

  • The 2010A Comments Report is a dynamic document tracking all comments submitted to OpenTravel with their workgroup and final comment resolutions for the current OpenTravel cycle.
  • Mailing Lists - OpenTravel maintains a number of mailing lists that inform members of upcoming conference calls and meetings. Membership of relevant mailing lists is also critical for participating in and staying up to date with OpenTravel's specification development. If you have not received a notice of membership from any of the mailing lists or would like to add additional contacts, then please contact Bonnie Lowell with your request. Users with access to members-only pages can sign up for mailing lists themselves.
